Call for Abstracts, Trainee Grants & Awards, and Travel Info

SSR Annual Meeting preparations are well underway! Speakers are being confirmed, the SSR 2014 Abstract Submission site is live, and the first Trainee grant and award information has been posted on the SSR website. See below for details.
The abstract submission site will be open until 15 February 2014Please read our Abstract Submission Information and Procedures page for important rules and tips.

Beginning with this meeting, abstracts will no longer be published in a special issue of Biology of Reproduction. Instead, the Annual Meeting Proceedings will be published on the SSR website and subsequently deposited in PubMed Central. As always, electronic versions of the accepted abstracts will be available to attendees prior to the meeting.

As it becomes available, all information about Trainee events, grants and awards, placement services, roommate referral services, and volunteer opportunities will be posted on SSR's Annual Meeting Trainee Information page. Check back regularly for updates.

LEMTTF Grants: The application deadline for Larry Ewing Memorial Trainee Travel Fund (LEMTTF) grants has been moved up! This year, 15 February 2014 is the deadline for both abstract submissions and LEMTTF applications.

Cornelia Post Channing New Investigator Award: Following the success of our initial partnership at SSR 2012, the biennial Ovarian Workshop will be joining us again this year. Of particular interest to Trainees, the Workshop also sponsors the Cornelia Post Channing New Investigator Award, named for a Workshop founder who died of ovarian cancer.

Trainee Merit Awards: Applying for a Trainee Merit Award (i.e., the SSR Trainee Research, USDA, Lalor Foundation, or Channing New Investigator Award) is as simple as submitting an abstract. To indicate your interest and eligibility in an award, just check the box next to the award's name on the Presenting Author submission page.
